Your venue coordinator will only take care of the logistics and details from a venue’s perspective whereas a wedding coordinator will manage all your logistics related to all of your wedding vendors, run wedding rehearsals, oversee the vendors on your wedding day, and ensure all of the day's events are running according to the itinerary. A venue coordinator will only contact vendors if it directly relates to set up at the venue, whereas a wedding planner works closely with your vendors to ensure all the details tie-in together so that your day is executed flawlessly.
